Hello guys! im an international student that has been looking into CU Boulder and I couldn´t help but notice that there are very few international students (1000 students of 26000 students) about 3 percent. should i be worried? maybe they´re not interested in having international students. Could this be the case?

Check out anything to do with costs to international students. When i say costs, i say scholarships/bursaries/grants/tuition/books/etc. Im in a uni with tons of international students but mainly due to rep and they find themselves considering to switch to another uni because of costs. My uni is not really internationally cost friendly.

But if money is not a problem to you, embrace that fact. I think being able to immerse yourself in a different culture with people who live completely different from the way you do is the best experience of being an international student. After all, whats the point of going out of your country if you are going to meet the same kind of people in your country again?

^^^^Agree with @Periweriwinkle,^^^^
Many international students can’t afford to pay the costs to attend our universities, or can’t get into the programs based on their stats. Most international students pay full fees to attend. Scholarships are almost non-existent. You have to be a very strong and capable student to handle, not only the rigor of the US universities, but also the vast cultural differences and have the money, as well to pay for it.

You may want to consider completing your education at home since the lack of internationals concerns you.
