International student, should I send my SAT score or not?

I’m an international student, GPA is about 3.7 but SAT not so high, it’s 1960, but 800 in Math, with reading and writing 580.

The question is if I should even send this SAT score, since my GPA is better overall.

I also have TOEFL scores which are not bad, 104/120, which I need to send as an international applicant.

I want to admit for a scientific subject like Math/Physics.

Don’t know if I should…

Try SAT again

Not send SAT (I’m not from US so don’t have to send SAT)

Send SAT as is

What do you think?

If you don’t think your SAT score of 1980 is high enough, then don’t send it. Your GPA is high, but they wouldn’t be able to be clear and say it is the Canadian equivalent of what, because it all depends on the type of curriculum followed in your country. If you want to, perhaps, increase your chances, try retaking the SAT, and focus on bringing your CR and Writing to about 670, and you’ll be fine. What extracurriculars do you have, because I know UBC asks you to fill a Personal Profile…?

I just got accepted today and did not score nearly as high as you did on the SAT. I think it all boils down to the personal profile that you give to UBC. This is a huge determining factor in the admission process and is your chance to show who you are outside of the letter grades on you transcript. What are you extracurricular’s?

Well stated.

it is a safe school.my TOEFL is 100/120 and SAT 1850,and admitted to UBC
don’t worry your score.it is fine.
