<p>Many of my friends who are international are applying to UCs as a transfer and one of them said that international students have a better chance in getting in. I did hear in HS that some schools like international students because they pay more and there's some diversity but I was wondering whether this is true in this case. </p>
<p>I’m not sure. Different UCs probably have different policies regarding international applicants; some may be more accepting and others less accepting. Which UC do you want to go to?</p>

<p>I was just reading this morning that the UCs have a record number of int’l. Freshman enrollment across all UCs for fall 2014 is 1/5 int’l (as I recall). Let me look for article.
