International UC chances better or worse?

<p>I heard that UC is admitting more internationals and oos because they need the money. </p>

<p>Is this true? Do I have a decent chance as an International African student applying to UCLA and UCB? </p>

<p>Are my chances better or worse than in state in your opinion? </p>

<p>My system doesn't use GPA but I have straight A's in my IGCSE and decent/ok A levels</p>

<p>UCB had an international acceptance rate of ~15% last year. UCLA was ~20% last year and ~30% 2 years ago for internationals. I’ve also seen stats that suggest the UCs are admitting more internationals every year (except for LA last year).</p>

<p>Very competitive for both oos and international students. Being an international student does not help you in any college admission process.</p>
