I'm in the 10th percentile of my class and i'm applying to

William and Mary
UPENN
I plan to major into business.
I know my SAT scores must be too low for PENN, W&M and UVA but taking into account the fact that I'm french what do you think?
thank you

lol I just meant that because I've learned English at school I couldn't expect to score very high at an exam I had never heard of before this summer...

It will depend on your need of money. Even so, your chance at PENN, W&M, UVA, and UNC is very dim due to your test score. If telling truth is being mean, I am being mean then. Bear in mind that you are competing with elite students from all over the world in a applicant pool in which colleges generally have a lower acceptance rate. You being from France doesn't make up an excuse for a low SAT score. Basically, if you are not A/L/URM, college usually never admit a student whose SAT score falls in to the lower 25%.

no I don't need financial aid, in fact I thought that the acceptance rate for international students was higher.... :(
And what do you think for the other schools?

UPenn and UVA seem to be a high reach for you, but you never know. UNC and W&M reach too. The others one I never heard about so I can't help.
Do you have great ECs that we should know about?

By the way I'm French too, So I'm wondering:
What was your section for the Bac? And your "moyenne generale"?

International student competition is very difficult, and it is much harder to get in as an intl. Penn, Virginia, and such all have intl applicants who have good stats, and I doubt they will overlook SATs for being an intl. Essentially, it is harder to get into top schools as an intl.
