Did any one of you, internationals, submit any financial forms/certificates to prove that you've got enough funds? thanks

I sure did. Internationals must prove they can afford 4 years of tuition. My friends who went to MIT, Stanford, Cornell and Cal all had to provide similar documents.

i just got accepted and i had to. theres absolutely no chance of aid either in the first year for intels- not even merit based aid.

There is little or no merit-based scholarships for incoming international students. However, current students are automatically considered for some merit scholarships (usually not a big sum, but still helps).

I understand we have to submit these forms - but are they supposed to be sent only after receiving the acceptance letteR?

no. they have to be sent with the aplication. its a requirement i think.

where does it say that?

Tenniscraze, in the application form, there is a "Financial Resources Statement: for Foreign Nationals Desiring F-1 and J-1 Visa Eligibility Forms" part which asks all students to fill the required blanks. They ask international students to provide "supporting documents". That means a letter from your parents' employer(s) stating their salary, title and how long they will be employed with them as well as bank statements showing that there is already enough funds up to pay for part of the education.

Right on the top of the form: "Please complete both side of this form... Return it with your completed application to: Office of Undergraduate Admission..."
