<p>D is interested in an International Relations/Studies program. Admitted to Michigan LSA. Her other option is IR at UC San Diego, where she is in-state.</p>
<p>Looking through the programs at each place, they are different in terms of focus areas. So that is one basis to decide between the two. Any other input folks may have, is welcome.</p>
<p>Well, what is your daughter interested in focusing in and is that focus area offered at U of M, UCSD, or both?</p>
<p>If I were in your shoes, and if the specific program your daughter wanted is at UCSD, I would advise her going to UCSD because its in-state unless she got a really good scholarship from U of M. Out of state tuition at U of M is really really expensive and paying instate tuition for the UC schools is a nice deal. Plus I don’t recall seeing much difference between the two programs, that is easily figured out by going on google. Tell me if I’m wrong though haha.</p>
