International Studies Major at NYU, USC, UM Ann Arbor, UCLA: Won't you take a chance on me?

GPA: 3.7 UW: School doesn't weight. (Sophomore Year: One "C" first semester; two "C's" second semester, Junior Year: All A's and an Honor's B first semester.) I have a bit of a trend going down before it goes up: My grades spiked up right before Junior year. Meh. Looks bad, but you can't change the past...

School doesn't rank...

SAT: 750 CR / 700 Math /750 Writing = 2200

SAT Literature: 760
SAT US History: 740
SAT Math II: 720
SAT French w/ Listening: 720

I took NO AP's at all until I self studied for four, Junior year.

(all self-studied Junior year:)
AP US Government: 5
AP Comparative Government: 5
AP Environmental Science: 5
AP Human Geography: 5

EC's:

+President of Political Forum (beg. Junior year)
+President of Amnesty International (beg. Senior year)
+~100 Volunteering Hours at Library and assisting a family relative who holds an important position in a music organization
+Some volunteering at my local newspaper
+Writing Competitions and Contests (placed in seven)
+Numerous piano competitions (placed in eight, most in first)
+Piano activities (doing concerto summer camps two times, etc.)

Phew Now with that over, can anyone advise me on what my chances are? I have a horrid GPA. I want to major in International Studies or Journalism. Here are the colleges I want to apply to:

NYU
UCLA
USC
UCSD
UNC Chapel Hill
UM Ann Arbor
Boston University

NYU - Low reach/match
UCLA - Reach
USC - Low reach
UCSD - Match
UNC Chapel Hill - Depends on OOS or in state. I think match for in state reach for OOS.
UM Ann Arbor - Low reach…your SAT is perfect but they try to accept 3.8UW Gpa. I think there’s a good chance you could get in.
Boston University - Match. They have a great journalism program1
