I'm considering three majors. International studies, history, and economics. As the thread title implies, I'm the most interested in international studies as it features both history and economics. The most probable course for me will be a major in international studies and a minor in either Arabic or German, which I will likely continue to obtain a masters in international studies. I'm not concerned with salaries, but I'm curious to know what the job market could look like for me. My preference would be a diplomat to a Western European nation or an analyst at a foreign relations think tank. I would love to study ethnic groups, but I don't know what path I would need to take to do so.

Im looking in to this Major as well, I asked a question too but, like you, no luck.

Personally I would major in a language and minor in economics or political science. Employers can always teach you the business or relations but you can’t teach someone a second language unless they hand you Rosetta stone which even then would probably take a year to master. And if you enjoy foreign relations you can always get a masters after.
