International studies

Hello , I’m sophomore majoring in international studies of East Asia and minor in Korean. I chose IS becuae I love languages and different cultures, is something that I’m really passionate about since I was a kid . However, I feel like IS degree not teaching me hard skills like engineering for example. I was wondering if there is a major or minor that I can do with IS that will make me more competitive in the market. I just dont wanna to go to college for 4 years , graduate and struggle to find a job or get job that I hate.
P.S I speak Arabic and English fluently if that matter.

Public policy, comp sci, languages, economics, business and statistics can be useful and complimentary.

If you can handle statistics or data science it’d be a great minor to have.
