International studies major

<p>Out of all the majors offered in UCs, I'm most interested in this one. It sounds like exactly what I want to learn about. I'm thinking of doing the International studies major with Political science as the primary track and economics as secondary track.</p>

<p>Questions:</p>

<ol>
<li>Has anyone taken this major the way I want to study it? How did you like it?</li>
<li>What kind of jobs can I get with a BA? I know I'm very limited with only a BA, so I'm planning to go to grad school, but still wondering if there are good opportunities out there. I figured if I want to study something, it should be something I'm interested in, not necessarily how much money I'm going to make.</li>

<p>Well I’m not an Int. Studies Major but this link has a list of careers <a href=“https://careers.ucsd.edu/majors/contents/pdf/international.pdf[/url]”>https://careers.ucsd.edu/majors/contents/pdf/international.pdf&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>Also keep in mind that you have to take 4 quarters of a foreign language if you don’t already speak one.</p>
