I am a 17 year old student applying to ISSYP 2015. I am an international baccalaureate student - is that helpful or hurtful when applying?
Also, I am applying as a international - do you know if there is a difference beween how difficult it is to get in if you are a canadian national or international?

If it hasn’t changed in the last couple of years, they select 20 from Canada and 20 from outside Canada, so it’s harder for an international because you’re competing with the rest of the world. I don’t know about IB preference, but they are looking for students that have taken and been successful in physics, and have reached at least the calculus level, though most of the students will be well beyond that.
