Hi!

I've been to ISSOS, and it's a really great program! From what I've heard, especially
the IB classes were pretty good; I was in debate, which was, I guess, equally good/amazing.
I wouldn't advice on the Creative writing and Youth Leadership classes though.
I'm not a native speaker in English (as are most people, although virtually a hundred percent goes to international schools) and I can honestly say I've learned a lot (My english improved insanely).
The people are amazing and so is the staff, they're incredibly nice.
I had the most fun summer ever!

I am not really sure about the academic rigor though (although the teachers and students are intelligent and well-spoken, and you learn a lot) but the program doesn't offer any credit. Everyone at ISSOS was very serious about their schoolwork btw, so don't be afraid of any rich slackers.

Tip: Pick the golf elective! You play on world-famous courses and get a lot of personal attention. I started as a novice and ended up being able to play some holes under-par (Or maybe I'm just the next Tiger Woods XD)

Anyway, If you're looking for the most fun and amazing summer in your life, please go.
If you only do it to impress adcoms and want credit RSI style, maybe you should reconsider it. I think it's equally impressive as, say, Harvard or Columbia summer school.

PS. The dorms are GREAT! The food isn't.
