International transfer student and financial aid

ok. I’m applying for transfer, but I’m international. Thing is, adimission is not need-blind. If someone could tell what is the average award they give to int’l students and what are generally their stats?

Here’s my stats anyway… feel free to tell me my chances:

SATs: V 640 - W 630 - M 730

GPA (Fairleigh Dickinson University): 3.82 (science GPA: 3.95)

EC: nothing spectacular but it’s alright

I can only pay up to 15000$. Do I have a reasonable chance for admittance?

Would the fact that I am Lebanese negatively or positively influence my chances?

Thanks in adavance!

oh come on. No one has ANYTHING to say?

i'm an international student as well, but im only going into college autumn of 2006, so i'm not that informed. but when i was looking at schools i understood that they basically don't give international transfer stud's ANYTHING, thats the problem with most schools. so when i was picking my school i was very careful, knowing that that's where i'd be stuck for 4 years. good luck

oh thanks for replying. I'm sure that Brandeis offers need-based financial help to international transfer students since it's there on their website, but I do not know how much would they possibly give, especially that I'm asking for a lot. (approx 30k between loans, aid grants, merit scolarships, and work).

ouch. i have to hand it to you, thats a lot/ but your credentials are pretty great. plus are you transferring from a uni in your home country or in america? because maybe they want someone exotic- er.....

I'm transferring from a Uni in the US. But I've only been in the US for 2 years, and I spent the rest of my life in Lebanon, so I wouldn't think that would be something negative. Anyway, good luck to me, although I'm not very optimistic. :S
