I'll be posting my stats below. I need some comments on my odds. I'll be flying high, applying to all the ivies (Dartmouth included =)) plus the non-ivy top colleges (UChicago, UVa, UCLA, Berkeley...)

My dream school is Georgetown actually but we'll see...

High School Stats: 4/5 (Dad died first year, things fell apart and it was quite hard to rebuild some things. I have a letter from my school director and my counselor telling about the situation. Plus, I was extremely active in HS. Founded a magazine, chaired 4 clubs, founded and organized an international youth congress (800 attendance from over 100 countries)... My last year was 4.7/5)

College Stats: Valedictorian (4.00/4.00)
Taking 3 courses more than the needed workload.
Founded and chairing a club.
Vice-President of the MUN Club
Great letters by instructors. The Rector will be writing a mail to the admission committee himself.
Got accepted to the college by a contest and am on a 4-years full scholarship.
Editor-in-Chief of a school magazine

ECs: Will be participating GYLC this summer.
Selected as the Turkish Youth Delegate to the UN.
Co-Founded MSF Turkey, with a friend from med school on a charter by MSF International.
Playing saxophone on the school orchestra.

Fluent in English, German, Spanish, Greek and Italian plus Turkish of course...

SATs: 2380 SAT 1 (790 CR, 800 Math, 790 Writ)
800 SAT 2s (World History, US History, Biology)

Letters of Recommendation: One from HS Director
One from College Dean
Rector will be mailing the colleges I apply to.

I'll be applying for Political Science or IR. I haven't made my mind up about the financial aid but it seems like I won't be applying for financial aid in the top schools.

Looking forward to your replies...
Selim / Istanbul

you have a very good shot.. but keep in mind that the ivies are very difficult to transfer into. Nice stats

great stats but you typed your school's web address wrong. http://www.bilgi.edu.tr
Good Luck.

You'll get in to most places, definitely, and not having to worry about financial aid is a big plus when it comes to non-need blind schools looking at your application. Don't worry.

What can you recommend me to increase my chances. I'll also add the little bits and pieces I forgot to add and will also post my prospective college list. But I am more than willing to hear your say...
