hi,
I am an international studying in a US university...i want to know whether Stanford accepts international transfers and offers finaid to them...
If it does...then is college performance usually the major criteria of admission for students transferring for junior standing???What GPA will be considered very competitive for transferring...
Is there any person who i can contact to inquire about transferrable courses so that i schedule my curriculum accordingly.....

trancfer credit:

can anyone comment on the aid situation

well on their website, they say they have aid but it is very limited and ur request for aid will be factored into yor admissions decision-so it is possible to get aid but request at ur own peril- I applied and requested for a lot of aid so I know I significantly lowered my chances of getting in- but u never know with these schools so...I'll say give it a shot if ur really enthusiastic about attending- but are u currently a sophomore? and if u are, how come u haven't applied yet?

not a sophomore but will start college....and well this is a long story I mean I applied to 14 schools but didnt apply to Stanford or any West coast school...which i am regretting....although i have been told that if i wasnt a superstart olympiad guy from India then its better to do well in college and try to transfer so thats why i want to transfer....
i am asking all this because
1. To see whether there is any possibility of a transfer
2. If there is then i want to make sure i take courses which transfer 90%....

Thanks for all your help...
Just one more question...on that transfer link provided in post #2...can outside students who would want to transfer to Stanford also apply for the course evaluation to see which courses will transfer....
