I really want and hope to study in Stanford. I'm studying in one of the colleges nearby Stanford now ,because I can't afford to take all the units in Stanford, but everybody in my college wants to go to UC and CSU . I searched A lot about transferring and it's impossible to a point that barely anyone got accepted or maybe have tried even.
The thing is I'm lost , I feel like all my studying in college is going to be pointless for the transferring and it's not gonna help me .
Also I don't know what courses should I take ,just the regular General Ed. or more than that.
I am good in physics and math. I want to study a physics major with a bit philosophy here and there .my SAT score a year ago was Critical Reading 740 Math 750 Writing 710.
but I said I'm an international student can't afford going to stanford for all the units .
Is there a way I can follow so I can get a higher chance to be accepted as a transfer ?

I hate College , Are the teachers in stanford close minded like any typical conservative in the streets especially the philosophy teachers.

woooooooooooo more than 40 views and not a single answer…not even dude suck it up ,you’re not gonna go to Stanford live with it LOL…

Stanford’s regular admit rate is ridiculous and they don’t really take many transfers because someone has to “drop” out to make room for a transfer student, so they accept maybe 1 to 4% of applications. How are you going to pay for Stanford? You said you can’t afford it and will go part-time?
Focus on some other schools.

I can’t afford it now, so I want to take the general requirements in a community college and then continue the rest in Stanford hence (transfer)…

How are you going to pay for Stanford? You said you can’t afford it and will go part-time? , how is that even relevant to my question, your post was pointless. have you read my post and the word transfer after a year or year and a half, after the general education ,that’s obvious whenever we hear the word transfer from a community college to a university.

@batking22. Here are at least two successful international transfers this academic year (there may be more): one student is from Oxford and one student is from Edinburgh.

Yes…there is a chance…but, it all depends on each individual’s background and past academic success…
Hope this helps.
