<p>and neha, dont lose heart, i'm sure there are great and better things in store for you. i know this probably doesnt help, but a wharton rejection mean jackshi* in the bigger picture. so keep your hopes alive! :)</p>

<p>hmm...hooks...well, to be frank after reading these boards i didnt think i had a hook.
but i can tell you what i think might have helped overall:
My extracurriculars were all well balanced and i had quite a few leadership and executive positions (school nespaper, model parliament, model UN)...some sports at club and school level (soccer, badminton etc.) another thing...almost all my ECs have been pursued since gr 10 (i started in junior positions and worked my way up)
i had 4 teacher recs, decent essays i thought</p>
