well should i take it??are there any internationals that got in without the Toefl??i have a 720cr/650writ SAT I..how much should i get on the toefl??i mean 720cr/650writ SAT I =??? on the ibt toefl??a 115 perhaps????what if i get less?do the adcoms gice much weight to it??

interesting question!

I needed to take the TOEFL iBT and got 117. How will the admission committee see this, will it be to my advantage or doesnt it matter since it isnt required?

I would think a 720 CR proves some English proficiency. The SAT CR and the TOEFL are to my knowledge not comparable, since one is made for native speakers and the other is made for international students.

I have read somewhere that the TOEFL is much easier than the CR, could someone confirm this?

^ It depends. I found both relatively easy. The speaking part of the Toefl can be hard though, especially if you’ve never been to an english-speaking country.

1991 are you applying for the class of 2013?
if so don’t take the toefl, your cr/writing scores are fine. if not think about if you believe it to be necessary. I found the Toefl to be a waste of money, and this money is something you can easily save if you needn’t take the toefl.

cookie and cake what’s your cr/writ score??

TOEFL is a lot easier than SAT CR.
