Well, on average, what do you get?

It's pretty fast, don't know the specifics. I click/type a link, and within 3-5 seconds, it's up.

Download a file off a fast internet server and post the speeds. Do an upload test.

600kb/s down 300up is what i've been able to get on my pc at UCSD. I'm sure it can go faster, my files just have never been big enough for the speed to peak out.

4374kbps down, 6878kbps up on the last speakeasy.net speedtest I did

The speakeasy.net test is fun: http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/

I got 9119 kbps down, 8328 kbps up. I believe our network is T3, but I'm not sure.

My high school has 3 lines of T1, that's hella fast for high school

This is part of why I'm looking forward to college. My high school and home have slow speeds. Grrr....

3950kbps down
350kbps up

weird.

my HS got wireless but its crazy slow, like 1Mbps

I attend two schools, and work on the network at one. At the one I work at, it's two T1 lines (one for students/faculty, one for tech crew), and one cable line for downloading things for the network. For the laptops, we have 802.11g throughout the building.

At my high school, it's just 1 T1 line for our entire district (4 schools). So we drop packets like crazy, I'm glad I only have 2 months left.

Download Speed: 3921 kbps (490.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 467 kbps (58.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

Hm, i think i'll go through and do an actual speed test when i get back on campus, give some more accurate data.

:)

Download Speed: 262 kbps (32.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 6037 kbps (754.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

@ UF; used to be faster, though.

4855 kbps down, 8348 kbps up at Cornell. My dorm has one of the slower Internet connections, too.

2516 kbps down/421 kpbs up at APU

Test done during the middle of the day [peak usage considering the number of offices on campus], UCSD:
