Hi. I am planning to intern summer 2012. My projected graduation is in the fall 2012.

My first question is: does my internship have to be relevant to my major (to get credit). I hope not. My major is resouce conservation, (forestry), but my intereents differ from the focus of my classes, which is wildlife biology. I'm more interested in sustainability. I just want a non-physical job. should I be looking for GIS internships? (I decided to not get a certificate in that)

I would like to work abroad (in fact, my professors said the Peace Corps is the only way to get into that arena.) Therefore, would an internship in say, Vietnam, be good? would volunteering to teach english be good?

Some background: I already have studied abroad for two years in the Philippines... and I will volunteer this August in Costa Rica.. anyway, is it hard to get into the Peace corps? I'll only accept a paid internship abroad, though.. so I probably will end up interning in the Us.
