Internship for Industrial Engineering freshmen

<p>Hey all, I'm a ISYE freshmen highly considering interning asap for experience. So far my resume sucks pretty bad. Sadly I got sick during 2 weeks over my first semester so I finished with a 3.1 gpa.</p>

<p>Where's a good place for someone like me, without experience to start applying for interning? Or volunteer for experience. </p>

<p>So far all I have on my resume are two clubs (Institute of Industrial Engineers and National Society for Black Engineers) and I work full-time on my breaks at a warehouse as a forklift driving (in which I asked for a internship and there's a chance I might get one)</p>

<p>My issue is I'd been thinking about joining AFROTC but I'm not so sure I want to do the military thing anymore. I'm actually leaning towards getting an MBA and going into working with people, business and tech more than actually engineering.</p>

<p>so did you get the internship? Did you get an internship, I’m on the same boat man, Im an industrial engineer, just completed my first year but decided to take it easy this summer, my goal next year is to get an internship. If you have any advice please reply.</p>
