Im a freshman @ Pepperdine University double majoring in Finance and French. Im originally from northern california and would like to know what I should do in terms of thinking of internships for the rest of my college career. I have the opportunity to go to London the summer of my sophomore year to do an internship in banking with Pepperdine, and am looking forward to that. Im seriously thinking about applying for some internships in Los Angeles during the regular school year at investment banks such as Goldman Sachs, Lazard, Lehman, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, etc. Does Pepperdine have enough clout to get me an interview and possibly an internship? Should I start looking for internships asap or wait until my junior year? BTW, I will be studying in Paris my entire sophomore year, so I will not be available to intern next year.

Please advise!
