Internship GPA

Hi all,

I'm a 3rd year university student, I was majoring in Biochemistry but for the past few semesters I've lost all interest in it, due to that my grades dropped... ALOT I'm currently sitting at 2.4 GPA ( 22 courses)
I decided to start from scratch and get into electrical engineering.

Now here's the question.
I am planning to do an internship in my 2,3 year of engineering and hopefully I'll have more interest in engineering than in biochemisty and I'll manage a ~3.4-3.6 GPA (Just in engineering). When I'll be applying for an internship, will the company look at my cGPA or can I just show them my engineering GPA?

For those who are too lazy to read: Was in biochemistry got a 2.4 GPA. Transfered into engineering, and hoping to attain a 3.4-3.6 gpa JUST in engineering major courses. Will the internship employer want to look at my cGPA or can I just show them my engineering major gpa.

The worst thing you can do is get caught trying to deceive a company. I would probably put major GPA on the resume. I would probably also calculate what your GPA would have been if you had gone straight into electrical engineering so you can provide that as well if they ask for it.
