Internship/Job on Common App

<p>Last year I had a paid internship at a museum. I worked 3 hours a week every Friday during the school year and volunteered several times during the weekend for 5-6 hours. Then during the summer I worked for 5 weeks, 5 days a week for 6 hours (I think!?). </p>

<p>Anyway, I'll get the times straight later, but how do I enter this on the common app? Do I enter it under "Activities" as "Work (Paid)?" How do I enter the hours I worked (seeing as it was so varied)? Thank you.</p>

<p>I think paid internships count as paid work. As for the hours, try to give a rough average of the time volunteered. Colleges won’t split hairs over volunteer hours.</p>
