The two I'm considering the most is Duke and NYU Stern. How's internship opportunities and job placement for Duke against NYU Stern (which I assume is amazing on both accounts considering it's location) and any of the rest - Emory, UChi, and Michigan? Thanks!

im assuming u want to do business since u applied to stern.... i'm kinda in the same position as u, choosing between wash u, tufts, emory, cornell, northwestern, bc , lehigh, villanova, and stern. and because of the internship and job opportunities of nyc and the high level of the stern business program ive been leaning towards that but u chicago econ and michigan business are outstanding... its just that stern is in an ideal location for jobs that would result from an econ or business degree

uchicago will have the best placement out of those. then umich followed by stern. duke and emory fill out the bottom. duke is an excellent school and is very highly regarded, but its location is out of the way for a lot of companies (especially all of the boutique banks in nyc). assuming you want to go into finance, econ at uchicago (in my eyes) is equivalent to an ivy league education. Ross also has excellent placement, and you have consulting companies recruiting their as well as all of the finance jobs. stern is great for finance jobs, but if you want to do something other than finance in the business world their aren't as many companies recruiting here as there are at the other schools i mentioned.
