Hi, all! This is my first time posting on here, but I have had some pressing questions concerning my recent early decision acceptance to the university. On my application, I declared myself as a Mathematics major in WCAS. Since being accepted, I have thought about switching into the McCormick College of Engineering for I think it would better suit my interests. I have heard that one can interschool transfer once they get there, but that it is more difficult to schedule freshman engineering courses after switching later in the year. Is this switch possible before the school year starts? And if it is, what should I do to make this transition as smooth as possible?

You should be able to email someone (maybe the dean of the school you’re in?) and talk to them about it. But I know people who switched before school started, so it’s possible. Just email someone about it, and if you get the wrong person they’ll direct you to the right one.
