Interview attire

My interview is tomorrow with a distinguished professor at the local law school, an alum of Princeton Law. I would imagine I should dress up in a suit?

And any last-minute advice would be very much appreciated but is of course unnecessary ;)

no suits. just a dress shirt and khaki pants.

I went to my MIT interview with my jeans, a button up shirt, and boots. It is supposed to be casual...

i've worn a dress shirt and slacks, wear whatever you feel comfortable in

Dude, do the suit. How the **** could you overdress for a Princeton interview?

i thought princeton didn't have a law school

You're right, Princeton doesn't have a law school.

Ah, sorry about that. Ph.D. from Pton. Law degree from some school called Yale.

Its actually pretty easy to find out, just call in advance and ask. Simple as that. If you are too embaressed to call (you shouldn't be) Look at where you are going for the interview. If you are meeting him at work its likely he will be wearing a suit and you should do the same. If you are meeting him in starbucks, you should just wear casual attire. Good luck. Remember, interviews are easy!

I'm meeting mine at Starbucks. Do you think a skirt sounds about right?

slacks, white dress shirt, dress shoes, tie. pretty conservative.

i'm wearing khakis + sweater..

interviewer told me it would be casual. although he's some executive downtown

I wore a suit, and it probably was a good idea, as my interviewer was wearing a suit.

I think the best way to go is to ask your interviewer beforehand. I dressed informal, as did my interviewer. But I'd definitely wear a suit if I knew my interviewer was someone like pton!"s.

I met at starbucks and I wore jeans and a sweater. A little more formal than on a normal day, but not very much. I think it depends on the location and the person, but as long as it's something appropriate and something you'll be comfortable in it doesn't really matter. They won't be judging you on your apparel.

i had to go to my interview right after a help the homeless walkathon (i know, convenient) and showed up in jeans and a sweatshirt. i got in, so i don't think it's that big of a deal.

i just had mine like 30 minutes ago. sweater + khakis

^ How did it go? What did you talk about with your interviewer?

it was pretty good. 50minutes. i basically talked about my EC's, which took quite awhile. then we talked about pton and its eating clubs and whatnot.
