this has probably been answered before but....
my interview is this friday, and my interviewer asked me to bring EVERYTHING. application, essays, test scores, resume. is this normal? the interviewer is a prominent businessman and president of a company so i imagine he is quite busy; will he look at my entire application before/while interviewing me? also, i have one or two low scores on a section of the sat, which i was kinda hoping not to duel on...any advice on how to answer questions about this? do i state the reasons for it?? i hate making excuses but i have no idea how to talk about this (the score is not terrible plus geographically its pretty good, but this is harvard).

one more thing...would it be inappropriate to wear my school uniform??? the interview is at a prominent business consulting firm. its an hour away for me so i'd be going straight from school. its a catholic school so the uniform is more than conservative.

lol. why didn't you just pm her? you're situation is kinda weird though. it's like the polar opposite of mine. my interviewer told me to not bring anything because Harvard has already reviewed the "qualitative and quantitative" aspects of my app. I don't really think he'll drill you on why you didn't get perfect in all your sections. That's not the purpose of the interview anyway. About the uniform thing though...maybe you can try to change in the car or something. Unless you're driving of course :D

lol. jk. advice from anyone here is much welcomed and appreciated. its just that she always gives me great advice...and shes the expert on the subject i think :D

Harvard interviewers do want your AP and SAT scores on their sheet they fill out. If I remember my Harvard interview, there is also a place to fill in a "+" or "-" for ECs, Academics, etc so a resume would be useful for him to fill out the document properly. Beyond those blanks, there is just a blank spot to write anything.

I wasn't asked for my application or essays, but we did talk about them in my interview. You shouldn't need to bring the application if you bring your resume since they probably will have redundant information.

My interviewer asked for my application, so I sent it to him the day before.

I think some interviewers just like to be able to have an idea of what they are going to talk about before they interview you. Also, they might also want to look at some of your ECs so that they can talk to you about them and get a better sense of your motivation, dedication, etc.

I think a school uniform would be perfectly appropriate, as long as it is conservative enough.
