My interviewer essentially asked for a soft copy of my application so I'm pretty much going to put my personal statement, my optional essay, and my resume, which includes scores and all that junk. Anything else you guys think I should add? I can't get a soft copy of my transcript so he'll just have to observe my GPA and such on my resume.

Don’t worry so much about the soft copy. I doubt he will read your essays, all though it is always helpful for him to have a resume to glance over. GPA and test scores don’t help him out that much, other than just a very general way for him to see that you are in the same league as the other applicants.

The interview will not last long enough for him to examine everything, but he’s probably going to ask you about stuff you did and put down on your resume, just to get a better idea of who you are. Unfortunately/fortunately, the alumni interview doesn’t hold as much weight as it might seem. It’s a good way for you to get to know more about the school (think about questions you might ask him) and a good way for him to get to know more about you. The interview will NOT make or break your case to the admissions committee, unless you reveal with irrefutable proof that you cured cancer/HIV/Alzheimer’s or you state vehemently that you hate Jews/gays/blacks/etc.

To sum it up, relax, and have a nice conversation with your interviewer.

Oh, and all I brought to interviews was a copy of my resume, although in the case of my Harvard interview, I believe he already had my scores and GPA and the facts from my file written down.
