Interview Leads to Death of Teenage Girl

Okay, ladies. I am FREAKING out about this interview. I'm pretty sure a little healthy fear is necessary. How did you find your interviews on the intimidation scale? My interviewer is really sweet, but I know she has the potential to break me down like a molecule.

I had an interview earlier this week with Wellesley. I think I was more relaxed because I had spoken with my interviewer previously and she was so sweet, she didn't seem intimidating. I know it's cliche but I think if you go into the situation relaxed and confident you'll nail it. There's nothing to be nervous about, trust me, your interviewer will make it easy to clearly express and highlight the attributes that make fabulous you! They aren't trying to break you down... they want to know who you are and learn why you are the perfect match for their school. I'll bet you are, good luck!

PS This is coming from someone who is often shy and anxious around strangers

DON'T WORRY. My interview was amaaaaazing, and made Wellesley one of my top choices. The ladies who do the interviews are amazing. No need to fear!

Hm..I submitted a request for an interview before the Jan 1st deadline but they still haven't called. Do you think they'll still give me one?

I haven't done an interview for any college period and the thought of it is eating my insides up >_<"

pekingnese09, I got an email asking me to RSVP and get in contact with a rep. in my area. I had to call her.

I had an interview, and I definitely think it's what helped me get into Wellesley. My interviewer was fabulous and supportive, and from hearing about other girls' experiences about interviews it has been similar. I have yet to hear a horror story about a Wellesley interview.

My interview was on campus, with an admissions officer, and it was great! I don't think you have anything to worry about...just think, you're already applying to a school that your interviewer clearly loves, so you've got something in common just from that!

wow. my interview went well. it was one of the most natural things in the world.
thanks for all of the reassurance! i mos def looked at this before i left for my interview :)

My interview was exceptional. It was like a chat between friends more than anything else. My interviewer was extremely nostalgic when talking about her Wellesley days. The whole interview was extremely enjoyable, and, although I never thought I'd say anything remotely like this, I would opt to do it all over again any time for the sheer fun.

Don't be worried at all. I had met my interviewer before at previous things. She actually went to my high school! She was nice and the first thing she said was that I shouldn't take the interview too seriously because it isn't "worth" that much. :) Way to make me feel better right off the bat!
