<p>Three people at my school all interviewed with the same MIT alumnus. The other two people interviewed before me and each said it lasted about 2.5 hours. When I did mine it only lasted a little less than an hour and a half. And mine was on a weekend while their's were during the week. Should I read anything into this? I just didn't have that many questions so it wrapped up pretty quickly.</p>
<p>My interviewe lasted 40 minutes... don't worry about it. Then again my person didn't really talk TOO much.</p>
<p>before going to mine, my interviewer said it usually takes between 30 and 45 minutes, but mine was an hour, long enough for her to say that my interview was "the best she's had in 7 years." so don't worry about length! :)</p>
<p>My interview was about an hour, perhaps a little less. I don't think MIT is too particular about interview length.</p>

It turned out to be around 80. :)</p>
