<p>My S is applying EA, and the website says interview "must be scheduled by October 20". My S sent his request to his interviewer a few weeks ago, who scheduled a date to interview him after first week of November. Is it fine for him to list this date on the application, or does he need to have interviewed by October 20?</p>
<p>Also, regarding teacher recs, S is getting additional rec from mentor at summer program. Is there a preference as to how that should be sent (i.e., scanned and attached to the application, or faxed)?</p>

<p>When they say that the interview “must be scheduled by October 20” they mean that it simply needs to be set up with the EC. It’s okay to have the actual interview after that deadline.</p>
<p>That is absolutely correct. The interview can happen at any time. That being said, do ensure that the EC knows that the interview is for an Early Action applicant. Our reports are due in on 1 November for those. That being said, there is some leeway granted to the EC’s by the admissions office if they know about it. If the interview is the first week of November and the EC can turn the report around quickly enough, then everything should be fine.</p>
