I have an interview tmrw for this summer research program and I have no idea what they are going to ask me. The program is called Partners in Science, and it is affiliation with the Liberty Science Center. Any one have any idea of what type of questions they might ask? I have never been interviewed before. Thanks

Probably why you’re interested, what experiences you’ve had, and what are your strengths and weaknesses.

my dad needs to interview a lot of people for his company, some more important things are definitely your experiences. you should prepare, even when its simply describing yourself and your interests. right now i can think them off the top of my head, but when people get nervous, everything gets jumbled. of course, dont practice to the point of sounding like your memorizing what you say, but you should know what you will say.

so, experiences, interests, why you are more qualified for the position than someone else, and they could ask you scenario questions, like what you would do in certain situations.

Simple.

“What makes you so special?”

research the program online and then write out why you want to go to the program, just so you can articulate it clearly, not memorize it, along with what you have to bring to the program, what you will do with what you learn from the program if you are accepted, also get a smart question ready… like a specific interest you have that is not mentioned on the website…
