<p>Here is the thing. I'm one of the six students who apply to UChicago in my school, so far only one of us got a interview email. Does it mean he is the only one has a chance to be accepted?</p>
<p>kenith: I think the answer to your question is almost certainly no. I think it’s fairly random and just a matter of scheduling. My son was accepted last year and he did not interview.</p>
<p>I’m another applicant, but I think kaukauna is definitely right. It’d take way too much effort for them to send out that kind of “hint” about who’ll get in, and they already have way too much to do.</p>
