How bad would be if I told my interviewer that I cannot conduct my interview this weekend because I have to study for some tests?
I know I am over thinking this, but I honestly cant help it.

Just call to reschedule saying you have a conflict you can’t avoid. Assume the other person is reasonable. No need to divulge your need to study. It’ll be fine.
I’ve interviewed extensively for two other top colleges, and if a student canceled an interview because of needing to study, I’d be a bit put off, frankly. I routinely note anything out of the ordinary in my interview write-ups, and that includes any difficulties scheduling the interview or changes made after the interview date is set. My time is valuable, but I have a great deal of flexibility in when and where I can meet with students. So 9 times out of 10, scheduling the interview isn’t a problem. But occasionally it has been, requiring multiple e-mails and/or phone calls back and forth with students who are clearly trying to find the optimal time in their schedules to meet. This is time-consuming and annoying. Make it easy on your interviewer–keep your appointment unless there’s some sort of emergency. If you feel you absolutely can’t make it because you need to study, I agree with @T26E4—just say you have an unavoidable conflict. Needing to study for some tests isn’t a good excuse.
@Planner Besides having tests to study for, I also have toefl this saturday to prepare for. It also wasn’t an official date, he just suggested we do it this week. No specific or precise time.
Anyways I emailed my interviewer and he said we would do it next weekend, and that I should relax and not to stress.
@Ghfdw17 That’s perfectly fine, then—it’s different if no date/time has been set already. I’m glad it worked out, and good luck with your interview (and tests!)!
Why would the interviewer suggest that you relax and not stress? Did you give them a reason to think you were stressed? If so, try to avoid that in the future.
