I know this may be a silly question, but...

My interviewer told me to not dress formally and wear clothes that I wear to school. So should i actually wear a pair of jeans???

Just ask yourself this: Is that what you wear to school?

haha

well, i wear a uniform, but i guess i would if i went to a public school

Well I guess wear some khaki pants and a decent polo if you're a guy, nice dress or something like that if you're a girl? I can't help much with the girl bit =P

yes, i'm a girl...i guess i'll wear a nice top on jeans or something!
thanks though!

Well that is counterintuitive if you consider that statement and other interviews.

For most interviews, khaki pants and a polo would be appropriate, but how many kids at non-uniform schools wear this? Excepting for kids going to the golf course or yacht club after school, not many.
I always take them literally. So yes, I would wear jeans!

Yea, jeans are okay. I wear jeans to all my interviews. If you wear jeans though, be sure to wear a nice, clean, dark pair. Don't wear any distressed, holed pairs. ;)
