Hi guys i was just wondering what to wear to university interviews, shirt and a tie? suit? or casual? thanks for the info

also, what should girls wear?

i wore my school uniform to my yale one.
and my harvard interviewer said not to dress up, so i wore jeans and a button down shirt and a navy v neck sweater.

as long as you dont look like a slob they wont care.

a have an interview for princeton, i'm in canada he is a university of waterloo professor now, did his undergrad, masters and phd at princeton, and it's in his office so would a suit be good for a prof, to show my respect?

I think it depends on where you are being interviewed, but in general, the interviews are used to explore a prospective student's personality. So, in my opinion, be yourself in every way. And that includes how you dress. Obviously don't go into the office looking like a slob, but don't freak out about it. Dress nicely, but not over the top.
