Are interviews advantageous for MHC? Is it too late to schedule now?

If you had an interview, how did it go?

Also, is the Writing Sample from 11 or 12 grade required for MHC supplment?

I suggest interviewing if you can. Check here for info and call admissions ASAP: Mount Holyoke College :: Tours & Interviews

My interview was great. It was very relaxed. Let me know if you have specific questions. :)

Interviews are really strongly encouraged, particularly since we do holistic admissions. Our interviews are very relaxed and are conducted by current students, so they're not intimidating at all. The questions are pretty natural and there's nothing too challenging. It's just a great way for them to get to know you on a personal level, which is really what they're looking for anyway.

My interview was really relaxed and conversational. It was with a senior named Darcy Thoma, who had actually led my campus tour the previous summer, so it was nice to see a familiar face. My cell phone actually rang during the interview and she did not care at all. It's definitely advantageous to do an interview on campus because it demonstrates your interest and gives you an opportunity to learn even more about MHC.

The writing sample is, indeed, required. It must be graded and contain a teacher's comments. I sent an analytical paper that I wrote about "The Great Gatsby" junior year.
