Did any of you have an interview? I heard this was very important to Holy Cross. Also, I went on my own tour when I went to visit, so will this look bad as I didn't have a formal, documented tour?

I believe that the reason that they place importance on the interview and tour is that it is a way to demonstrate sincere interest in the school and that you are not simply using it as a safety school. One thought would be to call the admissions office and explain why you were unable to do the interview and that you really are very serious about wanting to go there. It can't hurt.

Holy Cross factors "demonstrated interest" — the number of times a student makes contact with the college — into its evaluations of applicants

My interviewer was very friendly and did not ask any out of the ordinary questions, I really enjoyed it. I would think it is a very important factor for them.
