I woke up this morning completely convinced that it was April 1 :(

I was never contacted by Yale for an interview. I assumed it was because the local ASC didn't have a connection with my school, for some odd reason (even though I live in Los Angeles). It turns out, however, that they do.

Three girls from my school applied to Yale. Of the three of us, the girl with the lowest SAT--an 1140--was offered an interview. AND her interview was given after the last interview date of March 1st--hers was given around mid-March. I called Yale asking why I had not been offered an interview if the ASC did indeed have a connection with my school, but I was never called back. It's been over a week since I called. I'm assuming it means I didn't get in--why bother wasting their time on me? Grr..it gets me so mad that they couldn't even have the courtesy to call me back.

It's not as if I'm not qualified. I got a likely letter from Dartmouth..

my interview was horrible. my interviewer didnt follow guidelines at all and asked a bunch of touchy questions about my race and how i felt about the war and. it was just bad.

whoa feza..im sorry to hear that but u never know....u mightve been a shoe in so they didnt bother with u but i wont speculate because ...it just hurts..btw u have to keep us updated on this 1140 grl...GL WITH EVERYTHING and def CONGRATS ON DARMOUTH...thats already a great accomplishment!

My mom is an interviewer for Yale. She (obviously) didn't interview me, but she could tell me some things about it. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!

hmm, how much of a boost does a 9 give you

sempi...u should read that newsletter..itll help..

Nikara, has your mom ever contacted the admission office to talk about an interviewed applicant? How much would that help?

I read all about chantal , I'm just interested in the numbers

like 30% of those who get a 9 get in

where did u get that info?
