<p>Does it mean anything if Dartmouth sets up an alumni interview with you? How important are the interviews and what are they likely to ask? Does everyone get an interview or only the people they are inclined to accept?</p>
<p>My son '15 was never offered an interview. I think they offer one if there is a local alumnus available. Although we are in NYC metro area and I’m sure there are plenty! I don’t think it makes much of a difference as far as admissions goes… I think it is really just a way of sharing info about Dartmouth.</p>
<p>DD just got asked for an interview from a Dartmouth alum. I don’t think it hurts you if you do not get one. She literally just got asked yesterday, so they may be rolling them out.</p>
