Interviews

So, I'm pretty sure there has to be another thread on here about alumni interviews, but... it's been awhile.

Should I schedule an alumni interview? What is the actual purpose of the interview?

I don't want to say something utterly stupid and make the interviewer think I'm dumb. :)

I think my interview went over well…but I definitely said some things I regret. I guess you can’t sweat it too much, and it doesn’t seem like it is make or break. If you are very personable and like to talk, it’s a great way for them to learn more about you and to see your personality and if it would fit with the school. If you’re shy, or something like that, then it might not be the best thing.

Definitely schedule one if you think it will help your chances a bit, or if you just want to make connections with people tied to the school. I asked a lot of questions in my interview and learned some things that I couldn’t find on the school’s website.

I think the deadline for scheduling an interview is coming up, so get cracking! :)
