when I was comparing the courses, i was comparing with the general courses you take in the US (NOT AP!)

im quite a decent person in real life - i jsut work pretty hard and love learning for the sake of it.
If i come across as being pretentious, Im only being honest.

First off, welcome to CC phr0z3n. Second off, read TheOneCurlyFry's post very, very carefully. It's the best piece of advice you've got here. I applied to 5 of the schools you've listed there (got into 4, reject from MIT, didn't apply to NYU) (I'm the guy from the UAE she mentioned)

I'll address MIT specifically and the others as a group. You're into Mich, definitely into NYU, unless you're trying for some sort of a preferred admit program, in which it's more variable. Berkeley's tricky, as is Penn. If you're not applying for aid, then Penn becomes slightly more realistic. Carnegie Mellon's also pretty possible.

Now with regard to MIT, please, do not listen to anyone who tells you it's a match, it can never, ever be. There will probably be 2-3 Australians who get in. (If you think that's crazy, there'll only be about 4-5 Indians who'll get in, and the number applying is about 20 times that of the number of Australians applying). MIT's what you keep in a corner of your mind. If you get in, great, throw the best party you've ever thrown in your life, and spread some internet cheer. But don't allow yourself to think about that possibility at all. Don't rely on what your read on Chances threads here, you'll get masses of misinformation. Give your applications your best shot, and then relax! You'll get into a great college with your stats. Don't think that it's MIT or bust. I guarantee you it isn't.

Thank you so much for the info Shrivats!

Can someone chance me on getting into UPenn?

I don't think there's anything else to say!
Stop stressing.

ok then...

i just want to say im not being arrogant!

VERY good chance at Stern. If college admissions weren't crazy, I'd say you're in already, based on what you have here. You have the stats and the leadership... as long as you write good essays, you have a very good chance, based on what I've seen. Now, the international thing might make it harder, but it seems like you'd make it to the NYC campus (rather than being GSPed to London or something).

Now, that's my school, so I feel slightly more confident chancing you for it. :) As for Wharton... no idea. It seems like you have a very good chance there too, but for the Ivies, that's usually like, a 20% chance. I don't know anyone who got into Wharton this year, so I can't really tell you what they look for.
