Also, do any local (American) students live in the Intl. LLC? Or is it only international students? Because I’m afraid of only hanging out with the international kids and becoming part of the stereotype.

Thanks!

Yes, American students can choose to live in the International LLC.

what are the major nationalities living at the LLC?

I’ve got a question concerning International Village, by the way. If I remember correctly, it was written on the application that the number of spaces out there is very limited. The decision is supposed to be made based on the deposit date.
I wonder if anyone know how many spots are available and, usually, how early does one have/had to pay deposit in order to secure a place?

If you lived in an LLC, would you still get that whole ‘freshman’ experience with the other freshman kids?

yup some one reply to these posts please

I don’t think any posters here have lived in LLCs. I don’t really know many people who have done it… I personally didn’t chose to do LLC because I wanted to have a more diverse group of friends. It was easy to make friends in my major (meeting them in class, or elsewhere and then becoming “class friends” once we realized we were in the same courses), and it’s easy to make friends with people who share your interests since they’ll likely do the same types of things as you.

Ultimately, you’ll do a lot of socializing in college and will meet a lot of people. I think if you live in an LLC, you’ll still meet a lot of different people through class, clubs, parties, mutual friends, etc. If you don’t live in an LLC, you can still meet people with the same interests/lifestyles/personalities/priorities as you. Also, all dorms have social events and activities, so it’s not like LLC is that much more of a community than other dorms.

Don’t know anything more specific like nationalities in International LLC etc,…
