<p>the athletic facilities are small, and some of it is old, but its adequate. the gymnasium is probably the worst but the gym and the indoor track are each nice. intramurals is a great way to meet friends and is very fun and not at all time consuming. personally i did around 5 or 6 sports with different teams. it costs something like 100-150 per team so maybe $10-$15 per person per season. there are different levels (A, B, C, and D) for most sports as some are more competitive than other. I had a friend who played A-league basketball on a team with 4 former McGill players so it was definitely a step up from a pick-up game. If you pick the right level it is fun.</p>
