Hey y’all,
I took a Fundamentals of Psych class at UChicago this summer, and I was wondering if that is equivalent to an AP course. I also used Cacioppo’s Discovering Psychology and I am not sure if that is a sufficient text for the AP exam (I really don’t want to spend money on another textbook…namely Myer’s)

Thoughts?

Thanks.

AP Psych is just a simple introduction to psychology so your course probably did cover everything. I’m using Myer’s right now and it seems to be one of the best AP textbooks I have ever used so if you have the money then I would recommend it. Since you already took a full course anyway you would probably only need a review book to score well on the exam.

P.S. if you get credit for the class you took at college then taking the AP exam might be less than useless
