<p>i am a senior in HighS. right now, i am in the track team , used to be in the basketball team ( can't compete with african americans, so i quit)
and i am the team leader for the math team and physics team . </p>
<p>i love phyiscs , economics , architecture . literature .........</p>
<p>so i want to major in the physics , and maybe minor in eco and architecture.</p>

Forever_lisai, I actually know a guy from No. 4 high school, and he was my classmate from elementary school. Also, I don't know if you've ever heard of it, but I graudated from Oct. 1st middle school which is located near Yu Quan Lu in Haidian district.
I applied ED to Columbia College, and will probably major in Economics. Now it's less than 1 month from the ED notification day.....then I'll know my fate with my first choice school.

<p>Wow, this is cool! Two people from Beijing! (I'm from China, myself...but I came here to America about 14 years ago.) I was born in Dongying, Shandong. I visited Beijing last Thanksgiving, though! It changed so much! Hey, do you two like reading Japanese manga (man hua) books? I went back and got a whole bunch of them! Oh, and also, I live in Texas, too! (Houston, to be exact.)</p>
<p>Gfefe!! I'm from Houston, too!! Haha, this is interesting, but I don't think we go to the same school since there are not many Asians at my school.
And I like reading Manga, although not very often.</p>
<p>Hey! I'm Chinese too, but as my parents say, a complete "banana." I was born in Nanjing and moved to Canada when I was 4. Um...I'm full IB, am pretty much obsessed with the idea of American universities (although my first choice is University of Toronto), and can't wait to get off this island. My hobbies include maths, web design, poetry, and rock music. What else? Oh, and tonight I won't be getting any sleep because SAT scores come out at 7:30 am!!</p>

<p>And wow, u guys came from all the zhong dian secondary schools, u should have no trouble competing against the people at Ivies here in the maths and sciences.</p>
<p>I'm Croatian, but was born in Sydney, Australia and for the past 14 years i've lived near Toronto, Canada. I am fluent in both Croatian and English. Overall, I hate high school, but thats because its so pathetically easy here and my boredom shows in my marks. I like math and physics, but despise 'artsy' classes, except visual arts. I love cars, to draw, watch hockey and collect hockey cards. My major EC is School Reach, which is trivia where I own most science, all math and all capital questions.
I plan on doing mechanical engineering and maybe get an MBA later on, with the hope of starting my own car company one day.

<p>Zhunyiron, you're applying ED to Columbia SEAS? It seems like you're really good in math and science from your other posts.
Yeah all my friends in China are studying for Gao Kao...I can't imagine how much work they're doing now. Luckily I'm here in the U.S. Well I hope you can get into Columbia then you don't need to take Gao Kao anymore.</p>

<p>Im frm New Zealand but of Korean Ethnicity. Applying to 3 Ivy Leagues - Princeton and Columbia and U Penn- lol, just applying just incase they accidently choose me. And applying to JHU ED or Duke ED and other places like northwestern, stanford (doubt), USC, and cant think of anymore..
I'm taking a big risk and not applying to any safety schools because I don't like any of my saftey schools so the only way I can be safe is to get a good resume. I'm scared!
