Ints with perfect applications except verbal scores, what school are you applying to?

lets see .. i know what u mean ....but i want to say that i just checked in last years rosters containing the Admitted stats for Ivy league league students for the class of 2009 and it is clearly evident that SAT 1 no longer plays taht key of a role....... and a student's writing capabilities are no longer adequately judged by the sat1 also... time and again ivies go ahead to take in students with low sat1 scores yet bright stuff elsewhere .......

though i know whatu meant but then still the hypothetical applicant has a reasonable chance compared to others .. also ...U have to admit that ...If not HYPM but definetely the Other ivy league ones........

You mentioned somewhere here that u have got in ppl with 1450+ or 1500+ sat1 and then a 2250 + sat2 .. but then as per what i calculated for last years candidates today ... a net average of 710 or ++ after adding sat1 and sat2 is rare .. also not all applicant for these top places have them....... Infact ppl often do extremely welll in sat1 and fail to equal in sat2 ...

For eng. and science based students specially these factors wiegh in heavily...
Lets Go down to my case for instance .. my sat1 total is a 2020 ...with maths 800 but my sat2 is a 2350 ..with 800, 790 and 760 all in science and maths ... so do i stand at a disadvantage .. I dont think so . coz by all averages i saw .. my average of 730 is better than many many applicants with a sat 1 of 1500+ or 2150+ yet sat 2 arnd 2200 ...
