I haven’t done much research on any of these but need a safety school and according to my stats running the calculators these would be pretty close in price.I am really open minded so I would consider going to any of these.I want to major in business and want a school with a nationwide reputation because I don’t know where I want to live after college.I know they are all so different but I just want to know which is the best or what is definitely not worth considering compared to the others.Any suggestions from your personal experiences?
What is your career goal with business?
How much will your family pay each year? A safety must be KNOWN to be affordable…You must know for sure that you have all costs covered.
What are your stats?
What are your GPA and test scores?
I think Iowa may be the highest ranking.

My career goal would be working for a company not really the specifics but working with others coming up with ideas for the company,I might major in marketing.I don’t know much about the specifics of businesses but it really interests me and I like how it is real world economics. The only person I know in that field is investment baking which doesn’t interest me.
My family is willing to pay as much as the cost of the school but obviously the lower price the better.I have a 3.78 GPA and a 1350 on the SAT.
Alabama, Oklahoma, and Kansas have excellent Honors College.
However, Kansas is suffering huge budget shortfall so I’m not sure how stable funding would be.
Iowa and Washington State are pretty strong overall.
Have you looked into Temple or USC-Columbia?
UMinnesota Carlson is very selective, but there’s an agribusiness major in CFANS where all (100%!) majors are recruited before graduation/within 3 months, and it’d be a safety for you to get into that.
I go to OU and used to live by Montana State with a grad student at the school. While MSU has far more outdoors opportunities than the University of Oklahoma, it always felt like a far weaker university in terms of student resources than OU. If you’re considering MSU and can afford any out of state cost, I would look instead to Colorado State University if you want a similar vibe but better resourced institution.
